| Graphite electrode is the necessary conductor material for electric cooker's smelt,such as the iron and steel,the Yellow Phosphorus,the brown fused alumin and the metallic silicon. In the developed country,when they do steel-making,there are over 45 percents using electric cooker,while in our country is only 15 percent. Graphite electrode manufacturing industry is a high energy consumption and high pollution industries ,in the world capable of producing ultra high power graphite electrode countries have in reducing carbon element production scale, there are certain international markets. But in the current production of graphite electrodes in China is not a high degree of automation, Specific to the measurement electrode, the electrode of the parameters is still by human effort, this inefficient works result in workers have high labor intensity, measured data is also inaccurate.This paper first analyzes the flow of graphite electrode measuring process, the system composition and functions which should be done also has been appropriate analyzed. Then,the real-time measurement system of electrode on the measurement frame was designed. The electrode length, resistance, weight and other parameters of the real-time monitoring and management was implemented. In design plan, our hardware System consist of PLC, Magnetostrictive displacement sensor, Current Sensor, voltage sensor and Advantech Industrial Computer. Software used in the System are MCGS Configuration Software and the bartender 8.0 bar code software,etc. As in the communication process between a lower level sensor and configuration software MCGS, there is no ready-made instrument drivers can be use, in this paper's last chapter, the communication method between lower sensor and configuration software MCGS was introduced, which contains three methods:designing Device driver, DDE method , OLE method.Actual running result of measurement system demonstrated that graphite electrodes realtime measure system proposed in this paper is feasible. It has low cost and easy to implement, software design is simple, easy to grasp, strong reliability, it is a guarantee to the quality of the graphite electrode, also have bring Economic effects to the company. It has satisfied the need of Monitor Management. |
