Vehicle stability control system is an active safety control device, it can effective guarantee the lateral stability, which is becoming the most important one of the electronic safety control research.The vehicle lateral stability control system is designed to make the vehicle more safe and manipulable, improve the stability in the low adhesin or high speed conditions.Vehicle stability control system development method is proposed which is using the wheel moment control and modern eletronic control system development method. First of all, the yawrate and sideslip angle which is varibles through the vehicle stability analysis. Base on the PID control algorithm and torque control, stability control system is established and simulated with CarSim and Simulink. Then, vehicle stability control system which is established base on pressure feedback loop. Real-time vehicle simulation and semi-physical stability control system real-time platform are builded which is using real-time hardware system. Hydraulic hardware test platform and hydraulic system driver circuit are designed and semi-physical simulate which is based on CarSim and Labview. Through the control algorithm and the control signal research, the mature development system board is choosed. After that, stability algorithm is compiled into executable assembly statements and downloaded to the development board. The stability control system real time platform is replaced by development board. The semi-physical simulation is achieved more details which combine the development board and CarSim.The results show that: the use of modern electronic control development methods more efficient than traditional methods; co-simulation which avoid mathematical modeling of the vehicle dynamic equations calculation and derivation can convenient and quick realization of the control system simulation; real-time platform and the hardware in semi-physical simulation which can easier to reflect the stability control system features than software emulation. Co-simulation and semi-physical simulation results show that: PID control algorithm can be effectively applied to the vehicle stability control systems; the designed of stability control system simulation platform, which can effectively test the stability of control system performance; The yaw rate and the sideslip angle of the vehicle stability control system can effectively improve the stability of vehicle.
