ABSTRACT:Track circuit plays a greatly important role in CTCS(Chinese Train Control System).The quality of its signal transmission directly affects the train operational safety. The methods for fault diagnosis of track circuit signal presently have some shortages, such as inefficiency of diagnosis, the difference in skill between different signal inspectors, non-uniform standard for the methods, inaccuracy in diagnosis and so on. Therefore, to establish a standard, normative and universal system of fault diagnosis of track circuit is a necessary and urgent task, and is of great practical significance.From the relation between track circuit and cab signal, the track circuit signal is used by this article as the object of fault diagnosis. Then, the system of fault remote diagnosis of track circuit signal based on generalized S-transform is researched and established.Follows are the main content of this article:1. Based on the practical track circuit signal and on-the-spot investigations, the fault types of field practical signal are analyzed, and the overall design of the system is proposed;2. In respect of algorithm, a detailed discussion on the implementation of Generalized S-transform and the selection of its parameters is made. In view of the characteristics of track circuit signal, the value of parameters of Generalized S-transform is optimized through the traversal method, thus improving the ability of fault diagnosis. According to the frequency characteristics of track circuit signal, making use of Generalized S-transform algorithm in the extraction of the instantaneous frequency of track circuit signal, the upper side and lower side frequency and low frequency information are obtained. Moreover, on the basis of the information about the frequency obtained, the strategy of fault diagnosis of track circuit signal is formulated accordingly to extract the characteristic value of fault diagnosis for fault diagnosis of track circuit signal.3. In respect of design of network platform, the platform of remote fault diagnosis is set up by taking advantage of ASP.NET, and the goal that the fault diagnosis algorithm, Generalized S-transform, which is programmed in Matlab language and called by ASP.NET on the server side is achieved. Besides, fault remote diagnosis of wave data that users upload to the website is accomplished.4. The verification based on both the simulated data and field data shows that the method for fault diagnosis of track circuit signal proposed in this article is possessed of high accuracy and low erroneous recognition in fault diagnosis, and also can be suitable for use in railway field for fault diagnosis of track circuit signal. The fault diagnosis system established combines the algorithm and network platform and thus complementing one another. As a result, it will effectively meet the requirement of railway filed.
