FRP composite have many good properties, such as high strength, light weight, resistance to fatigue, corrosion protection, as so on. So FRP composite is the idea material that can be made cable and tension member and can be used to repair and retrofit of existing structure. However, the weakness of FRP composite in transverse direction and its sensitivity to notching make anchoring difficult. Various anchorages for FRP bar have been invented, but they have some weaknesses, so these anchorages haven't popular in civil engineering applications. In the case of different bond media, RPC shows the best performance as a bond medium in the bond-type anchorage for the indented surface CFRP tendons. So RPC has been chose as bond medium for bond-type anchorage system. In this paper, a series of static tests and fatigue tests have been done about the developed wedge-type anchorage system and bond-type anchorage system with RPC as bond medium for solving present problems.Static tests:the influence of the grouted length of CFRP tendon to static anchor performance of bond-type anchorage system has been tested, it is proved that the bond-type anchorage system has good anchor performance; the influence of anchor length, inner angle of barrel, presetting load level and the thickness of aluminum sleeve to wedge-type anchorage system has been tested, it is proved that the wedge-type anchorage system has good anchor performance.Fatigue tests:a series of 2-million-times fatigue tests has been done for studying the fatigue performance of bond-type anchorage system with 200mm grouted length of CFRP tendon and wedge-type anchorage system with 80mm grouted length of CFRP tendon. And the results of tests prove that these two anchorages have good faigue performance. At last, this thesis give proposals about the further development and research.
