With the development of network and information technology, the quality of the architecture environment which people demand is more and more, the amount of data transmission in network are also increased, and there have been some problems such as information transmission conflicts and sensitive data transmission, so we need to increase the reliability, validity and real-time of data transmission in the network communication system. The processing power of current communications hardware has been greatly improved, if we want to solve the problems in network transmission, we must improve the processing capabilities of communication software in order to match the hardware capabilities. This research has used multi-Agent technology and wireless network technology as support, combined with the characteristics of the modern built environment, researched the hardware and software development, network system design, intelligent algorithms and communication protocols of the wireless network system based Agent, and we have achieved important theory and application of the results.This paper included the main contents as follow:(1) We researched the theory, characteristics, technical features of Agent and multi-Agent, and also research the development of wireless network technology. Then we designed the wireless network based Agent and applied it in the built environment.(2) Combined with the characteristics of the built environment, we designed the hardware structure and function structure of the system. We have explained the reasons for selecting the hardware modules and described the system functions. By a combination of both, we achieved the system's modular design, which can effectively improve the accuracy of data transmission in system and reduce the difficulty of building the system.(3) Due to the actual transmission requirements, then use nRF905 wireless modules to build the wireless data transmission system. As the experimental results show that the communication distance is up to 100m indoor and 500m outdoor, which can meet the demand of the project.(4) Researched and designed hardware circuits and software, according to the specific circumstances of the building environment, designed the wireless network topology and communication protocol to ensure the reliability of data transmission.(5) Based on the hardware platform and wireless data transmission program, we embedded the Agent into the each node in the system, designed the model of wireless meter reading system based on multi-Agent. We designed the network topology, used the blackboard structure to communicate, and constituted the communication protocols. Due to the characteristics such as intelligence, autonomy and coordination of the Agent, we used the recursive algorithm and least square method as the intelligent algorithms, aimed at correcting the error data in the system. Contraposed the suspicious data, we used least squares method to fit the data by according the coordination mechanism, then obtained the reasonable data.(6) We designed management system for the collected data in the system. We analysisd software design requirements and nailed down the design tasks. We used ADO technology to access the database and realized the integrated management of households'information and meter data. Specifically including some functions such as the data collection, query, statistics, export, and the registration of new households, deletion and query of households'information.In the end, we made a conclusion for this thesis and pointed out the future research.
