Cracks in concrete construction are inevitable in the actual project. Casting slab cracks will cause some harm to the structural integrity and durability. Now the main form of the floor is slab,so the cracks in the casting slab are of great significance. Extensive research and experience shows that hydration heat and temperature change has become the main leading cause of the reinforced concrete and concrete-bound stress cracking. According to specification, the principle of cast-in-place floor cracks in the structure is controlling to crack .It means to crack width does not exceed the maximum width specification. However, many practical engineering slab crack width does not meet the requirements in the thermal stress and shrinkage stress. To protect the safety and durability of the building and to prevent the crack width is too large. So should place reinforced concrete slab width of crack. The paper made the following research. In this paper, there are five chapters, and the main contents are summarized as follows:Chapter 1: The concrete background and cracks in concrete structures at home and abroad and thermal stress was introduced in research. This chapter describes the main types of concrete ,and the advantages and disadvantages of the concrete, the purpose and significance in this paper.Chapter 2: Slab cracks are introduced in the frame - shear wall, frame and frame tube structure of the cracks in the actual project situation ,and various structural cracks in cast plates give a brief analysis in this chapter.Chapter 3: This chapter introduces the basic concepts of cracks in concrete, types, causes, damage and control. So we know some of the cracks of reinforced concrete structures. It will has great help of frame - shear wall cracks in Slab in this paper.Chapter 4: Through the study of concrete cracks in slab and analyzing the internal stress of concrete which on the surface of reinforced concrete plate. Finally the author gets the cast-in-situ floor slab Temperature stress formula. And do a comparison of stress Slab crack width and crack width specification under the temperature influence.Chapter 5: Since setting back strip can reduce the internal force of contraction of Slab. This chapter used the method of setting back strip to increase the framework - the largest expansion joint from the wall structure in specifications.Chapter 6: The summary of the full chapter, and the questions which need to research for further are pointed out.
