With the the development of high-rise building,research and application of Steel tubelar structure is used more widely.It can eliminate the size of member and the weight of structure, however it is a brittle material. Filling UHSSCC into steel tube forms ultra-high-strength self-compacted concrete-filled steel tubes (UHSSCCFT), it is effective to overcome the disadvantages of UHSSCC as a result of being confined by steel tube.This paper has investigated the behaviour and mechanism of UHSSCCFT subjected to eccentric loading. The main achievements in this paper can be summarized as follows:Firstlyl, summaried the result of the former reseach on concrete-filled steel tubes, which shows the work in this paper is necessary.Secondly, this paper tests on 24UHSSCCFT members, including,12 circular and 12 square. The main parameters varied in the tests are:(1)section types, circular and square; (2) slenderness ratio (λ), from 10 to 72and (3) load eccentricity ratio(e/r), from 0 to 0.6.Thirdly, finite element models of HHSCFT subjected to eccentric loading are built by ABAQUS. Load-deformation curves and workmechanism on UHSSCCFT, including the relationship between steel tube of the core concrete, are obtained and analysed by ABAQUS.Finally, to sum up the work of this article, has done a study on the future outlook.
