Operation Risk Assessment For Regional Power Grid

The regional power grid is an important part of nation power grid, which is the interface between the great power grid and the user. It's safe and stable operation has a strong relationship with the people's lives. As a result, it's urgent to ensure the security of the regional power grid.We developed the system of risk warning and decision support for regional power grid based on risk theory and applied it to one regional power grid. It can support on-line and off-line with different load levels in different operation modes and practical support for risk prevention.By comparison between State enumeration and Monte Carlo Simulation, we select State enumeration to conduct risk assessment according to the characteristic of regional power grid. The outage model combined with equipment condition assessment making it more consistent with the actual situation. To make the results more reasonable, automatic devices are considered in the power grid analysis.
