AC voltage regulating power is widely used in industrial enterprises, transport, digital communication, medical equipment, national defense and scientific research fields.The traditional technique is mainly based on regulator of thyristorand and regulator of AC chopper, both the advantages are simple structure and low cost; but today is the era of promoting green power, the deadly drawback is the serious pollution on grid, and the output current is characterized by high current harmonic content and low power factor. In order to improve the efficiency of AC voltage regulating source and reduce the impact of regulating source on the grid, this paper designs a new type of AC-DC-AC-AC AC voltage regulation mode. This paper applies an AC-DC-AC-AC transformation model instead of the traditional AC-AC voltage mode, the AC-DC process can effectively reduce the harmonic pollution on grid,the process of DC-AC realizes the conversion from DC to High-frequency AC. In this part, access to high-frequency transformer can effectively reduce the size of the device, the transformation process of AC-AC achieves the transformation from high frequency to low frequency by cycle converter.In the traditional basis of SPWM modulation,the controller congtrol its turn dpending on the different pulse number, achieving the control of high-frequency inverter and selecting the device accordance with the parameters calculated. In order to reduce equipment size, the introduction of high-frequency inverter makes outstanding contribution. Turning the high frequency inverter back to the original SPWM control signals by cycle converter provides high quality and reliable power for the entire system.The process of design gives full consideration to the corresponding protection, at the same time a model of AC voltage regulating power system is simulated by power system blocksets tool of the Matlab,the simulation results demonstrate that the system is feasible. The system uses DSP2407 as the core controller and sets up a test platform in accordance with the selected control program, the experimental preliminary data shows that the system has stable and reliable performance,it is able to effectively abandon the major shortcomings of traditional AC voltage regulating power, such as low efficiency and high harmonic.
