As a result of the air pollution,water environment's worsening and fossil fuel's depletion in recent years, the wind energy develops rapidly as a new energy strength. The installed capacities of plenty of countries have been growing remarkably every year.But now the utilization rate of the equipments in wind field wind is smaller than 80%,and the actual failure rate has already surpassed 20%, only in 2008, the statistics losses of several wind fields in our country have amounted to 170,000,000 Yuan. Therefore, to reduce the losses, it is very essential and immine to carry on the research work on the failure diagnosis of large-scale wind turbine.In the topic, the construction of large-scale wind turbine was studied, the failure of each subsystem, and the influence on the power-generating capacity of the wind field from the fault of each subsystem is statisticed and analysed. The large-scale wind turbine refers to the wind tuebine whose installed capacity is more than 100 kilowatts,it is mainly used in the wind field.The large-scale wind turbine mainly includes tower, wind wheel, yaw system, braking system, transmission system, drift system, electrical system, controlling system and so on.The electrical systems breakdown occurs most frequently,and the influence on the power-generating capacity of the wind field from the transmission system is the worst.Then, the dynamical analysis of the key parts of large-scale wind turbine are completed by the way of finite element analysis software,such as tower and transmission gears,and etc.The vibration characteristics of the tower and other related components are concluded,and the fault symptoms of the the large-scale wind turbine are extracted based on the fielddata through the method of spectrum analysis and cepstrum analysis. On the basis of summarizing and evaluating of these signs, the knowledge base of large-scale wind turbine fault diagnosis expert system is formed.The way to realize expert system includes the expert system tool VP-EXPERT, PROLDG, CLIPS, object-oriented language, the database language, and so on. In this paper,VC++ and Access 2003 are used to program the knowledge database, inference engine and other interface of the large-scale wind turbine fault diagnosis expert system,and the drawbacks of the expert system programed by CLIPS are improved as unfriendly interface,uncomfortable to use,and so on.
