Energy conservation is one important developing direction of the important world industry, the hydraulic excavator as the main equipment digging the cubic meter of earth and stone, if not to adopt energy-saving measures its efficiency is only 50 to 70%. In order to strengthen the competitive ability of the domestic hydraulic excavator to foreign product, we must enhance the level in saving energy control system of domestic hydraulic excavator, comply with the tide of world development.This paper establishes electric energy-saving control system of excavator based on CAN bus technology, including power and detection system. According to the diesel engine, hydraulic pump, hydraulic valves and electrical control system of hydraulic excavator ,fully develop the potential such as the energy saving of the hydraulic excavator.1. Firstly introduce the meaning of topic, put forward the development of energy-saving control system and the development trend of energy-saving control system of hydraulic excavator, analyze the present gap in energy-saving technology between domestic excavator and the excavator of the developed countries.2. Elaborate the working principle of hydraulic system and power system respectively and make detail analysis about the energy loss. Research the power matching control between hydraulic pump and diesel engine, set up the mathematical model for the engine basing on the characteristics analysis of the hydraulic pump and diesel engine. Designing electronic control system of the hydraulic excavator base on the CAN bus technology.3. Put forward fuzzy control theory and design of fuzzy PID controller, from the angle of energy-saving, apply the parameter automatically adaptive to fuzzy PID control to excavator, adjust the system parameters according to different conditions, improve the dynamic performance of control system and make the system has good robustness and control accuracy, in order to achieve the effect of energy saving.4. For the software design of the energy-saving control system of hydraulic excavator, it will be divided basing on the moduel of CAN bus energy-saving control system, respectively elabrate the control moduel from the aspects of pump, throttle and auxiliary function, and also respectively establish flowchart of the control module.5. Basing on the test of CAN bus communication, it shows that CAN bus is convenient and simple to apply to energy-saving control of the hydraulic excavator, through adjusting in load sensor system, the CAN bus makes the pump have good adaptability in pressure and load and has very good energy-saving effect.
