| At present,there're only semi-submersible units and drillships which can work in deepwater over 1500 metres.So far,the research on drillships has been little in our country. The dissertation studys on the general design of a drillship which is intended to perform most of its drilling operation in South East Asia or West Africa,with the hope of impelling the exploitation of deepwater resource in South China Sea.The main contents of the thesis are as follows:1. The imminency of our country's deepwater resource exploitaion and the situation of South China Sea are analyzed. The concept, categorization,system components as well as the domestic and international development status of drillships are also introduced.2. The basic information of the drillship is described and the 3D numeric sample ship is built in the CATIA software.3. Seven key drilling outfits of the deepwater drill rig are investigated and analyzed from the concept, the sort, operational process, function as well as the main producers and their products'character and applyed range in order to supply references to procure appropriate equipments for deepwater drill rigs and widen the knowledge.4. The Mobile Offshore Drilling Units stability rules are introduced briefly. Besides, the floating state and intact stability in 8 loading conditions are analyzed in TRIBON software.5. The wetted surface mesh of the drillship is created in Patran software.Then the hydrodynamic parameters are calculated in Hydrostar software. At last, the deepwater mooring system is designed and analyzed in Ariane software according to the quasi-dynamic coupling theory. |
