Inertial navigation system possesses extensive military applications as well as civil for the advantages as follows: without restrictions of region, time and climate and it can provide navigation information autonomously, snugly and real- timly. Initial alignment is one of key technologies of Strapdown Inertial Navigation System(SINS). Study on improving the initial alignment accuracy has theoretical and practical significance for the result of initial alignment directly affect navigation accuracy.The research on initial alignment is based on the project named "Optical Fiber Strapdown Inertial Navigation System" in the laboratory. Error equation and error model of interial navigation system have been builded.Performance of inertial devices have been obtained by error analysis of "Optical Fiber Strapdown Inertial Navigation System". It provided emulated data for the simulation and research of initial alignment. In this paper, the initial alignment solution of SINS, which is based on gorycompass method has been established through mathematics platform has been transplanted to platform system.The control rule has been discretized. It designed the initial alignment solution.Through using emulated data and measured data verified the solution.In this paper, a dynamic error model of initial navigation system based on Kalman filter has been builded, and this scheme has been carried out through simulation. It did a research on the effect about the filter performance through selecting different parameters. Based on the above study, it has an rough understanding about the law of parameter selection.
