With the continuous change and rapid development of the modern weapon technology, the part of the large surface ship playing in modern wars is becoming more and more important, so the structure of the large warship is threatened. It becomes the research focus of many military countries to ensure the effective vitality of the ship and to improve the shock resistance of it. The set of broadside defensive structure, which is an important way to protect the inner structure of the ship from damage, can improve the shock resistance of the ship.Especially, the broadside defensive water tank plays an important role in the underwater contact explosions.Based on the typical hold section of XXX large surface ship, the dynamic responses of the large surface ship under the actions of underwater non-contact explosions, contact explosions and bubble jet attack are researched in this work, by using numerical calculation method. Especially for the broadside defensive structure of the ship, its defensive effect is analyzed in view of energy. The specific contents of the thesis are as follows:In the first chapter, the present state and perspectives of the research on the dynamic response of the broadside defensive structure under the actions of underwater explosions are analyzed, in views of theoretical research, testing research and numerical simulation, respectively. It is the foundation of the subsequent research.In the second chapter, based on several numerical calculation methods of fluid solid coupling, the basic theory of CEL method is represented, and the implementation way of CEL method in this thesis is researched. And then the fluid solid coupling finite element model of the warship and the fluid is built.In the third chapter, the defensive characteristics of the broadside defensive structure under the actions of underwater non-contact explosions are studied. The shock wave in underwater explosions is simulated using finite element software, and then the structure response characteristics and frequency-domain characteristics of the hold sections, and the characteristic of absorb energy of the defensive water tank under the actions of remote non-contact explosions are analyzed.In the fourth chapter, the defensive characteristics of the broadside defensive structure under the contact explosions are studied. First, the response characteristics and damage of the ship structures are analyzed, when the torpedo attacks deferent positions of the warship. Then the damage of broadside tank is analyzed when the warship is attacked by the different sharp scrap. And the regularity is generalized.In the fifth chapter, based on the former research, the initial characteristic of the bubble is researched under the different sharp of explosion. The velocity and pulsating pressure of bubble jet are generalized. And the damage characteristic of warship broadside structure is studied under the bubble jet.
