With the development of urban construction, geotechnical engineering problem of deep foundation pit becomes more and more obvious. The imperfect in design theory about deep foundation pit and the inadequate in high optimization and traditional design calculation of safety and techno-economic configuration brings lots of difficulties to foundation pit design and construction.This dissertation takes the deep foundation pit of the A2 residential area in Taiyuan Wanda Square, based on the traditional design calculation, applying FLAC3D, simulates the strata initial stress state before excavation and all the process of fractional excavation and support. According to the simulant result, analysis the horizontal displacement of foundation pit wall,settlement character of foundation,distribution character of stress,the changing regulation of stress before and after bolt support and internal force of the structure of support. The simulant result show:with the increment of excavation depth, the horizontal displacement and settlement amount is increasing;deforming zone mainly locates in middle-upper part of foundation pit; the stress after bolt support mainly focuses on the area near bolt , but the deformationis relatively little,it improves that the bolt support control the deformation of foundation pit effectively. At last using strength reduction method, evaluate the stability of foundation pit excavation and support. Through the FLAC simulation and analysis, provide reference for engineering design and construction, it has more practical senses to support of deep foundation pit.
