The Research Of Shovel DC Excitation Control System

The DC generator excitation control system is an important component of the DC generator to provide excitation,it directly affect the performance of generator characteristics,and it has a very important significance in security and stability of power system. Excellent excitation control system not only ensures safety and reliability operating generator,but also provide the power qualified and effectively improve the power system static and dynamic stability. With the large scale integrated circuit technology developing,computer technology and power electronics technology improving , power semiconductor switching device to control the chip performance continues to improve,excitation control system developed very rapidly.Hardware control using microprocessor as the core of microcomputer-based excitation control system will be the future direction of development of excitation control.In this paper,we take WK-4-type shovel DC generator - DC motor drive system for example,generated the shovel-based DSP BF531 DC Generator Excitation Control System design,using current and voltage outer loop of the pairs of inner loop excitation power adjustment program,and designed an advanced electronic integrated power shovel electric control system,which has main task to DC generator field winding to provide an adjustable DC current and to control the output voltage of DC generator thus regulating DC motor running. The system has simple structure,fast dynamic response , etc. It also can better meet the on-site control and the actual production requirements.The text firstly introduced the domestic and international trends of excitation control system,including the excitation control system hardware structure and the control mode of development,micro-computer control system of the basic structure of excitation,and excitation control method of the excitation control systems. And then from the principle of electronic control excavator shovel proceed on the basis of the existing control system to reform,we make the introduction of DSP chips will be replaced by traditional analog control systems digital control system,and take a detailed analysis of the digital excitation control system hardware components and work principle. Finally,the electronic components are used to conduct a detailed screening , design hardware and driver circuits.
