Intelligent Transportation System has become the inevitable trend of the development of modern transportation, vehicle detection is one of the core of intelligent transportation system technologies. The vehicle detection based on magnetic technology is an ideal technology with low power consumption, better identification accuracy, small size, easy installation, and little damage to the pavement, environmental adaptability and so on. The core of the vehicle detection algorithm based on magnetic of Current detector is to obtain vehicle information. Through by comparison the establishment of threshold with the signals detected However, the precision of this method restricted greatly by benchmark drift, threshold set, there are no better solutions. This Paper analyzed deeply the singles obtained form magneto resistive sensor AMR repeated tests, raised a method based on a curve make up of its fluctuations in the two coordinates, basis of the analysis to determine whether the closure of vehicles through information, By analyzing the direction of the curve close to judge by the direction of the vehicle and through the simulation and the actual verification. The results show that this is a viable solution.
