The cracking phenomenon of mass concrete of foundation slab for high-rise building is becoming the emphasis of all the engineers, crack prevention of concrete is very important in guaranteeing the quality of the engineering. Crack prevention of mass concrete is system engineering, it include many links, one of the most important program is to control the temperature of the concrete, in the mean time, we should pay attention to other programs, such as the choice of primary materials, concrete design, job practice and so on, there are many places needs to be studied.(1)The basic analyze principle and normal solving methods of and the temperature field and the temperature stress are analyzed and sum up from theory. A state of massive concrete three-dimensional unsteady temperature field and temperature stress finite element analysis of the basic calculation steps is highlighted.(2)The author use MIDAS simulate the temperature field of a building foundation of a high-rise building of Kunming, combine the actual situation with engineering. The temperature and temperature stress variation with time under temperature control measures for changing the parameters are calculated and analyzed. The author makes a number of views about the use of temperature indicators, temperature control concept, finite element program for simulation analysis as a complementary means of temperature-controlled management.â‘ the appropriate temperature control indicators for specific works are decided by strengthening the experiment.â‘¡the key to control the temperature of the mass concrete is the control of both the temperature and the temperature stress.â‘¢finite element program for analysis and forecasting capabilities and engineering practice combine.(3)Based on the current developments in concrete technology, the author think that except the temperature control, there probably other factors that result the crack of mass concrete, such as the mistaken multi-component concrete design, biased structural design, incomplete measures for construction technology and construction management. The author summaries some correct points, successful experience and measures about materials, design, construction, management of crack prevention in mass concrete, the purpose is to explore the beneficial results to serve the engineering practice. Besides there is supplementary formulation about how to handle cracks of mass concrete, these measures and the conclusion can be applied in engineering practice.
