Concrete Filled Double Skin Steel Tubular Columns is a new Concrete Filled Steel Tube Structures.The structures is placed on two concentric steel tubes, pouring concrete between two layers of formed steel components. The Structures in addition to maintaining the traditional characteristics of Concrete Filled Steel Tube Structures, also has carried out cross-section, bending stiffness, light weight, good seismic performance and fire performance characteristics. Therefore, in the civil engineering field, especially in new buildings, it will have a relatively wide range of applications. In view of the actual situation, this paper studies Concrete Filled Double Skin Steel Tubular Columns joint for the first time, and the specific work is carried out by the following aspects:(1) This paper summarizes the characteristics of Concrete Filled Double Skin Steel Tubular Structures, as well as the subject's background, the purpose of this research, methods and content.(2) Experimental research described in detail Steel beam to Filled Double Skin Steel Tubular Columns joint of the production process and loading methods.(3) The hysteretic behavior of 9 concrete filled double skin steel tubular columns joint with circular hollow section (CHS) inner and circular hollow section (CHS) outer columns were studied and the results were presented in this paper. The parameters are the axial compression ratio and hollow section ratio.(4) The influences of those different parameters of the joints on the strength, ductility, stiffness, and energy were investigated.
