With the power loads being more and more complex, the disturbance of power quality harms power system and the electricity users more seriously. The harm of steady-state disturbance is widespread such as inter-harmonic, voltage flicker, etc. Therefore, sags, swells and other transient disturbances harm power quality badly, and the comprehensive online monitoring of power quality detection is becoming a necessary means of running a high-quality power network, and the realization foundation of online monitoring which is based on reasonable and efficient method of power quality analysis. The paper gives research on identification of inter-harmonics identification, the voltage flicker parameter extracting and the classification different type of transient power quality disturbances. The main contains are as follows:A new theory Matrix Pencil (MP) is put forward to analysis the harmonics of power system due to the serious inter-harmonic problems nowadays; furthermore, the method how to identify the parameters of harmonic is given. This method can overcome the spectrum leakage of Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) and it can also deal with the shortcoming of choosing the wavelet when the harmonic is analised. This method will take singular value decomposition for HANKEL matrix which is formed by harmonic signals, and combined with singular value difference method to determine the number of harmonic. It can extract the frequency and amplitude of inter-harmonics signal accurately.According to the characteristics that voltage flicker is harmonic signals,add the Matrix Pencil and FFT together and then apply it to the extraction of voltage flicker parameter. First, FFT will remove noise and the harmonic's interference, then the matrix pencil algorithm will extract modulation parameter and then you can conclude flicker parameter by formula.Based on different voltage disturbance of short window energy characteristics, this paper puts forward a method based on morphology filter and energy of the threshold of transient voltage disturbance identification methods. The Mathematical Morphology filtering method can identify the sense voltage signal disturbance, and in a strong noise case can still maintain good recognition results, substantial increase in signal to noise ratio.Large number of simulation indicates that the method of this paper has the probability and the validity to analyse the power quality problems...
