At present, solar energy has become the focus of attention and research at home and abroad. Taking grid-connected PV system for research object, several key technologies were analyzed and studied, including PV array's characteristics,maximum power point tracking(MPPT) technology,control strategy of grid-connected inverters and islanding effect.Firstly, the paper analyzed a kind of PV(photovoltaic array) array characteristic of engineering calculation method. The calculation method of characteristics was used in the test system of grid-connected PV inverters. Secondly, it introduced two kinds of MPPT methods and mainly explored a kind of interpolation disturbance method. In MATLAB\SIMULINK environment, some simulation experiments were done with this method. Thirdly, the mathematical model of the three-phase single stage grid-connected PV inverter were established in the three-phase stationary frame and two phase synchronization coordinate separately. The paper mainly analyzed double closed-loop control strategy based on synchronous frame control technology. The whole simulation model of grid-connected PV system was built using the SimPower systems which in the Matlab/Simulink toolbox and simulation studies were done. Finally, this paper explored a method of detecting the islanding and analysed feasibility of the method in MATLAB\SIMULINK enviroment.
