As emergence of energy shortage, the energy-saving light source LED lighting takes in more and more proportion of the lighting market. High-performance LED driver becomes the key to solving the problem. LED driver switching power supply develops toward the direction of lower voltage, higher output current, higher efficiency, faster dynamic response and higher reliability. This paper makes a study of synchronous rectification technology in the high power LED driver.The structure and working principle of switch power supply circuit is analyzed in this paper first. Then the causes of power loss are discussed and new technologies such as synchronous rectification and soft switch are studied. The overall architecture design of the fly-forward converter topology circuit is finished by combining technology of active clamp, soft switch and synchronous rectification. Finally the detailed design and analyze of circuit with input of 48V and stable output of 10.5 V / 14 A is finished.EDA software PSPICE is used to simulate the sub-circuit and whole circuit after the analysis and design of the complete principle circuit. The simulation results turn out that all the functions have been implemented with the design specification, and the design theory in this paper is proved to be correct.
