Electromagnetic ultrasonic flaw detection method is a relatively wide range of industrial application inspection method, because it does not require coupling agent, and in the high accuracy measurement of pipes, plates, etc. can have a good practical test. Electromagnetic ultrasonic testing methods,according to the different excitation can be divided into two kinds, one is the permanent magnet excitation method, one is the exchange of electromagnetic excitation method. In this article,electromagnetic ultrasonic flaw detection method is about permanent magnet excitation. The electromagnetic acoustic transducer is the most important part of electromagnetic ultrasonic equipment, so the design of electromagnetic ultrasonic transducer will affect the design of entire device.For the application of electromagnetic ultrasonic transducer in practical use, study the working principle of the electromagnetic ultrasonic transducer, and study the theory of electromagnetic ultrasonic transducer involved electromagnetic field, mechanical field and ultrasonic field. On the basis of electromagnetic theory, mechanical theory and the ultrasonic field theory give the analysis of the entire electromagnetic ultrasonic transducer process.Study the finite element simulation software ANSYS involved the theory of electromagnetism. Simulate two-dimensional electromagnetic ultrasonic transducer through the ANSYS software, and understand the change of the magnetic field in the defect of testing. Using the finite element analysis software ANSYS to simulate eddy current and Lorentz force, and to simulate the geometric parameters how to affect eddy current and Lorentz force in the tested material. Through the relationship between Lorentz force and conversion efficiency understand the relationship between the geometric parameters and the conversion efficiency. Finally, through the simulation diagram study the ultrasonic wave of two models and understand applications of two models.
