In the 21th century, with the great development of economy, energy problem is increasingly severe, the pollution problem which is caused by the burning of fossil fuel is more and more serious, many countries in the world have reached a consensus which is to find green renewable energy, persist in sustainable development route. Wind power, as a clean and exhaustless energy, has been one of the first important green energy, wind power generation has become the study hotspot competitively researched by human.This paper firstly introduced the basic principle of the wind power generation, topology structure of the wind power generator, then brought in the Variable Speed Constant Frequency(VSCF) wind power generation technique, presenting its principle, analyzed the operation area, built the double fed induction motor model in the static reference, brought in the coordinate transformation concept, deduced the model in rotating reference, and introduced the Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation(SVPWM) technique and the implementation of algorithm, which layed the foundation for vector control. Secondly applied the stator magnetic field oriented vector control strategy to realize the decoupling control of the motor's active power and reactive power, and applied the grid voltage oriented vector control strategy in the grid side to realize the steady control of the DC bus and the unity power factor operation of AC input port. Thirdly introduced the Low Voltage Ride Through (LVRT) technique of Double Fed Induction Generator(DFIG).It has developed experimental platform of VSCF DFIG based on the chip TMS320F2812 produced by TI company, which included main circuit and control system. Main circuit design contained the route of the cable, selection of the device type and so on. Control system contained design of the schematic, welding the PCB board, debugging, and Electro Magnetic Compatibility(EMC) design, which analyzed the source of the electromagnetic interference, transmission path, then adopted effective measures, and received good effect.During the experiment, by combining the hardware and software, the VSCF DFIG experiment platform operated well, did the Maximum Power Point tracking(MPPT) experiment, and tested the decoupling control strategy of the power and the unity power factor operation strategy. The abundant datum testified the correctness of the theory and the rationality of the design, laying the foundation for further research.
