Dynamic compaction is a method of foundation treatment which could improve the strength of soil and the liquefaction condition of sandy soil a lot, reduce the compressibility of soil as well as eliminate collapsibility of loess collapsibility and so on. With the advantage of efficiency and simple construction process, it is widely used in basement treatment. However, violent vibration is bound to occur in basement as the result of huge energy which could lead to the destruction of the environment nearby. Therefore, it is strongly needed to study the vibration caused by dynamic compaction so that we could take some measures to avoid the destruction.On the basis of a foundation treatment project of a new railway container center station in Dalian, with the FEM software ABAQUS, this paper analyses the attenuation of vibration caused by dynamic compaction and some shock absorption measures, the main contents read as follows:1. It gives an introduction of the superiority, main range of application and reference construction parameters of dynamic compaction and describes the mechanism of it and current research status on dynamic compaction vibration.2. On the basis of practical project, this paper introduces some construction schemes, some detection methods of dynamic compaction as well as the way to calculate the safety distance and lists different value of safety distance according to different energy at last.3. With the establishment of three-dimensional finite element model of dynamic compaction, this paper takes the ground surface vibration velocity as the evaluation to calculate the safety distance.After verifying the correctness of the model with comparing the calculating results with the test results, this paper study the sensitivity of dynamic compaction vibration towards reference parameters.4. Analyses different optimization construction measures of dynamic compaction and the vibration isolation effect of isolation trench including its width, depth as well as the difference vibration isolation effect of different filler.
