Design And Implementation Of Portable Concrete Permeability Analyzer

Reinforced concrete structure is the most widely used form of the structure in the world. But the reinforced concrete is not indestructible, the failure of concrete structure durability caused by steel corrosion has brought about enormous economic losses, adversing bad social impact, the disaster has caused widespread concern around the world. Steel corrosion is the most important between many factors that cause durability damage of reinforced concrete structures.Cl has characteristics of fast corrosion and large damage, which is the primary reason of steel corrosion.Therefore, the study of permeability resistance of concrete under chloride environment has important practical significance.The article analyzes reinforcement corrosion mechanism induced by chloride and establishes model of chloride reinforcement,also, it studies chloride ion permeability principle of ASTM C 1202,we design a automatic detection system on chloide and completes hardware design,software design,at last,we has been debugged and experimental verification. In addition,the paper improves the ASTM C 1202 against the shortage,for the impact of temperature on the permeability of concrete,the paper studies temperature compensation algorithm to correcte electric charge.Finally,we designs detection system of chloride ion penetration. System can accurately determine the permeability of chloride ion.The system is made up by coulometer test instrument of chlorine ion and computer analyse software.The system measures concrete electrical charge by four-channel.Concrete permeability analyzer is small and portable,and can work independently from the computer,it is stable,which can be used in poor working conditions. Coulometer testing instrument has been designed and implemented. It includes Atmega128 single-chip module, data acquisition and conditioning module, displaying and printing model of data, alteration module of machine and people, memory module and serial communication module,which can capture current and temperature data and display processed data on the LCD screen in real time,when necessary,it can print data through printer.PC data analysis software was written by VC, it can receive results from the analysis instrument to make a more humane process.When current of the concrete reaches 300mA, the instrument alarms, also, the PC software can display electrical charge and test data of concrete.The system improves the automation and precision to some extent and has many virtues, such as high reliability, full function and so on. It can be widely applied to engineering test.
