Along with the digital sensor development, new request has been forward to on aerial remote sensing location for ground technique, which bring on the recognition and development of Position and Orientation System integrated by IMU and DGPS. POS and Digital Aerial Mapping Camera integration is essential for Aerial Photogrammetry, and georeferencing is most easily accomplished by integrating the measurements of an inertial measuring unit (IMU) with those of GPS receivers used in differential mode (DGPS). The POS gives direct georeferencing, making photogrammetry without GCP come true.Domestic and overseas Research indicates that, there are some system errors in the position and angle parameters obtained by POS, and they are not aerial mapping exterior orientations. The overall system calibration must be resolved.Based on the digital photogrammetric and POS theory, this paper gives the coordinate transformations between Photogrammetry and POS, introduces two Calibration Grounds in detail, and gives some calibration method about POS, SWDC aerial mapping camera and the integrated system.
