This paper analyses the fatigue behaviour and fatigue life of nondestructive and destructive steel structure component reinforced with carbon fiber sheet.Aiming at the need of steel crane beam which works in fatigue in industrial work shop,the experiments that crane beam were made fatigue damage under different stress amplitude then were reinforced with a layer of carbon fiber sheet have been done.In experiments,static deflection and strain were measured and were used to calculate injury tolerance of steel crane beam.Furthermore, during the whole experiments, dynamic strain were measured and were used calculate instant injury tolerance of the beam.It can be compared with static measure, and enhanced experiment's precision.Fitted curve can be created by the experimental data of the steel beam,and this fitted curve is S-N curve then S-N curve slope and extreme fatigue life can be acquired.Afterwards, injury tolerance fitted curve and its relationship with S-N curve slope and the relationship of injury tolerance and fatigue life can be gained too.At last, the influence on fatigue life and behaviour of different destructive steel crane beam reinforced with a layer of carbon fiber sheet under different stress amplitude were obtained.
