Nowdays, pneumatic technology is an important branch of industrial automation field, which has numerous remarkable advantages. Because of its clean, non- pollution, high efficiency and low cost, pneumatic technology become an important method to achieve a variety of production control and automatic control and it has been widely applied in industrial automation. As a method of control, the all air system control is being replaced by electric-pneumatic control in some relevant areas, however, it is not suitable for electric-pneumatic control in the anti-burning, anti-explosion and anti-electrostatic for special occasions. All air system control is still wildly used in many places.Under the guide of a rapid design method for all air system based on ladder diagram invented which was put forward by SMC corporation, at the same time, on the basis of the design thought and the design procedure of the rapid design method for all air system, through the analysis and research on the all air system control circuit designed with rapid design method for all air system based on ladder diagram, the improvement project of the whole system was asserted. According to the proposed scheme, the working principle and the main advantages of the introduction of the special pneumatic component-programmable air controller module for was well expatiated in detail.Then combining with the programmable air controller module which was used and the design thought for sequence control,a set of much more concise and intuitive pneumatic system of rapid design method was put forward.Compared with rapid design method for all air system based on ladder diagram,the travel program control circuit of the pneumatic of the many cylinder of the pneumatic design was more reasonable. After completing the design of all air cannonball backfilling manipulator in use of the new rapid design method for all air system, the advantages of this rapid design method for all air system method was proven through the engineering practice.
