With the rapid development of China economy,a lot of base installation are build in urban and rural. The mating liquid storage structure is widely used in the same, and the reinforced concrete rectangular storage structure used mostly in them. So that the complexity of liquid storage structure and verity of load on it make people don't regard the one or two load which work on structure.In recent years, appear a lot of programs such as the liquid storage structure crack and failure. With the damaged of structure, as the same time, it will cause the leakage of toxic and harmful material, it will make people's live and property cause a huge of loss, even produces serious heart shock for the general public. So that the domestic and international academic circles take a lot of study and discussed on liquid storage structure which effected by thermal difference, and get some significative achievements through their works.In view of the above situation, though the study of thermal-solid coupling in this paper, it will be able to provide a theoretical basis for design and construction to concrete rectangular liquid storage structures. Establishment the overall three-dimensional solid finite element model of reinforced concrete rectangular liquid storage structure, comprehensive consider the solution of the material nonlinearity, the selection of material model, the convergence property of program and the factors realization of thermal-solid coupling such as the realization take the analysis of numerical simulation, which based on the large general FEM software ANSYS and ANSYS/LS-DYNA to study the vary roles of the displacement, stress and strain ,axial force and bending moment which were effected by the coupling of thermal and storage liquid structure in different locations. Though the study of thermal-solid coupling in this paper, it will be able to provide a theoretical basis for design and construction to concrete rectangular liquid storage structures.
