Classical Chinese garden has a long history and is unique in the history of garden art of the world. It mainly refers to the northern royal garden and private garden on the Yangtze Delta, which has growth and expansion under co-cultivation of thina's agricultural economy, political centralization and the feudal culture. Compared to other garden system on the same stage, Chinese classical garden is the longest and the most widely distributed. Especially in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the Chinese Classical Garden reached a peak stage, and soon the brilliant achievements gradually spread to infiltrate Western Europe as a "Chinese style" trend. In the second half of the eighteenth century in Europe a copy of the Chinese garden gardening boom, of which France became the European imitation center for Chinese garden art. Also due to the development of France's own romantic garden-style, painting landscape architecture appeared in France and Britain about the same time and developed in parallel. They were mutually influenced and promoted by each other in garden ideas and theory. At this time French landscape not only referred to the English landscape garden for gardening practices, but also by the impact of Chinese classical garden, so it's called Jardins Anglo-Chinois.This paper take the comparative study method by analyzing the Chinese Classical Garden and Jardins Anglo-Chinois's regional and historical environment, the development of ideological context, cultural background, and the Europeans'imitation for the Chinese classical gardening's technique and elements, to sum up the Chinese Classical Garden and Jardins Anglo-Chinois's similarities and differences in the aspects of the garden ideas and garden art features in a sourcing and tracing way. This basis helps to look at the eighteenth-century cultural exchanges between Chinese and Western landscape with historical and objective attitude, to gain a more clear understanding of our own as well as learning the lessons from the Western Garden "Chinese craze" trend, and then examine more clearly the new round of the Western craze in the current cultural landscape. Besides rethinking our reference to the "Western" today, how to inherit and carry forward the essence of Chinese classical gardens, how to draw in the lessons of Western cultural landscape in the eighteenth century, how to combine the social, economic and garden development considering the actual situation, how to do back Chinese gardens......These are all self-worth to explore and think in the follow-up as an important issue. I hope that this stage's analysis and research plays a certain role in reference and inspiration to the modern transformation of Chinese gardens.
