By cement reinforced soil after some of its mechanical properties will be obvious improvement, but the tensile properties do worse still, when used as a foundation is still prone to large deformation. In this paper, based on silicon powder cement composite soil, used in the silica fume cement mixed with polypropylene fibers approach, using polypropylene high strength, high toughness and so obtain higher strength and better mechanical properties of polypropylene fiber silica fume cement. Test samples by laboratory tests carried out on the unconfined compressive strength test, indirect splitting test, triaxial compression tests and SEM scanning electron microscope ,studing of polypropylene fiber on mechanical properties of cement-soil enhancement and strengthening mechanism. According to the test results are:1,The samples from the tensile and compressive strength tests carried out showed that polypropylene fibers can significantly improve the strength of the soil, and the improvement of the tensile strength of more significant, and createing a polypropylene fiber content and strength of relationship.2,The samples for different confining pressures in triaxial compression tests were related to soil shear strength parameters obtained and the experimental stress - strain curve analysis. Show that the cohesion of the soil samples with the increasing fiber content while increasing, the internal friction angle is not changed much.3,SEM scanning electron microscope combined with experimental analysis of the fiber cement composite soil micro-structure, the discussion of soil particles and cement, silica fume and polypropylene fibers in a series of physical, chemical, fiber reinforced cement composite described the mechanism of soil.
