The distribution of asphalt pavement thermal is intrinsically and inevitably related to the bearing capacity and performance of pavement and intensity parameter of asphalt material. In-depth knowledge of distribution character and changing regularity of asphalt pavement thermal and correctly predicting the temperature distribution of pavement can provide basic parameters for structural design and materials design of asphalt pavement.Firstly, the paper introduces the installing projects, burying method of temperature measurement instrument and analysis mothod of temperature data. By means of analyzing the real bearings temperature date of Wuwei city in Gansu province, it come to the conclusion of daily variations of pavement temperature distribution and regularity of pavement temperature changing with depth. Furthermore, by comparing the average daily maximum and minimum air temperature, the daily extreme maximum and minimum air temperature of different areas of Gansu province, it makes a climate district of asphalt pavement in Gansu province.By analyzing the difference in temperature of different areas of Gansu province, "large temperature difference area" of Gansu province is defined with the index of daily average temperature difference and daily extreme temperature difference. By definition, it makes a compartment of large temperature difference area in Gansu province. Three certain regression models for predicting daily pavement temperature, daily pavement highest temperature and daily pavement lowest temperature is proposed by taking air temperature, humidity, air speed, solar radiation and depth of asphalt pavement into account. According to the real bearings temperature data and environmental parameters in Hexizoulang of Gansu Province, it proposes model coefficients of prediction models. Finally, the prediction model is validated by temperature data and climat date of Longxi region in Gansu province and its applicability is well.
