Wind energy is one of renewable energy. It has great strategic significance in protecting environment, reducing the use of the conventional mineral energy, and achieving socioeconomic sustainable development. Wind turbine generator system is the installation that converts wind power into electric energy, wind turbine is the core equipment, and blade is the key part of wind turbine. Thus airfoils which form the blade become the most direct factors to affect the performance of wind turbine.In this thesis, adding flap method is used to design airfoil and blade of the wind turbine , and the software Fluent is used as the analysis tool of this design method. It contents four parts in this paper: basic theories of the wind turbine; basic theory and method of the flow field analysis; 2d analysis of the airfoil and 3d analysis of the blade.The first part introduces the geometrical parameters, aerodynamical properties of the airfoil and their effect to the airfoil. The first part also introduces the characteristic coefficient and pneumatics of the wind turbine. The second part gives out the basic equation, turbulence model, net technique and the discrete control equation. The third part and the final part give out the caculated concrete method, intercept the picture of the process partly, give out the analysis according to the result and proves that adding flap method to design airfoil and blade is feasible.
