How to shorten the development cycle, reduce costs, and improve the efficiency of centrifugal pump, are urgent problems need to be solved. Reasonable in hydraulic design of the impeller is the premise, draw a good meridional projection is the basis, the parameters of the design process is the key technology, CFD analysis software is important guarantee. Therefore, for the demand of actual design, the centrifugal pump CAD system and CFD numerical simulation is of great theoretical significance and practical value.The research content and features of the dissertation are as follows:(1)The basic design theory based on speed factor method of the impeller , for the need of parametric design, the calculation of hydraulic design of centrifugal pumps are achieved by VB Program.(2)The difficulty of design lies in meridional projection of centrifugal CAD system , it depends on experience of the design on traditional meridional projection , it needs to modify constantly ,and it is difficult to form mathematical models, so it is difficult to be procedure. For the need of parametric design, it is necessary to establish a mathematical model of the center line of flow channel, using Bezier curve to fit it, derive the equation of impeller shroud, thus achieve the parametrical design of meridional flow channel.(3)For the core component of centrifugal pump, according to the method of feature modeling of SOLIDWORKS, read the result data of hydraulic design, use the way of dimension-driven parametric modeling, we get the impeller parametric Three-dimensional model finally.(4)For the needs of CFD flow field analysis, we establish the model of volute,impeller and inlet of the whole flow field, use the FLUENT software to simulate the flow field in centrifugal pump, get the pressure and velocity distributions on centrifugal flow field, use the result of numerical simulation to verify the rationality of design, and guide the design.By using the way of parameters design and CFD numerical simulation, we can shorten the design cycle greatly, and reduce the cost, provide reference for a more rational design and improvement...
