Air cooled condenser is made up of ten air cooled units as square. The A-styled air cooled unit contains an axis fan and finned tube. The flow and temperature around the finned tube is asymmetry due to the outflow of fan and the condenser structure. The heat transfer acreage become smaller. The flow field of the cooling air in the condenser cell can be induced to improve the heat transfer performance of air-cooled condensers in power plant. Based on the representative air-cooled condenser cell of 600 MW unit, several kinds of flow guiding device of cooling air were proposed. The physical and mathematical models for the velocity and temperature fields of cooling air in air-cooled condenser cell with flow guiding device were established. The flow and heat transfer characteristics of the cooling air in the condenser cell at different velocity were obtained by CFD simulation. We define the finned tube as porous and radiator conditions. Study show that induced device will optimize flow and reduce high temperature around the finned tube. Different induced device have different influence on air cooled condenser. Reducing the size of device will cause mass flow increasing and minish the capacity of inducing. Comparing the different inducing device, the curved device work more effectively.
