This paper starts from the three-dimensional modeling techniques, the development of virtual software Virtools, Virtools software features and show scenes of the establishment of starting materials. Comprehensive and systematic study for key components of the canoe selection, appearance design, the specific parameter calculation, the virtual scene layout, three-dimensional model and simulation analysis and designs of the canoe 's original appearance and systemic research for setting up the virtual exhibition scene, displaying canoe dynamic of key technologies has been accomplished.The main contents of this thesis could fall into six chapters as the followings: Firstly, this paper has compared and analyzed for the advantages and disadvantages between two-dimensional and three-dimensional graphics display, pull into the urgency of three-dimensional virtual reality display.Scientific and technological development and the great significance and frequently of canoeing events is the development of three-dimensional virtual display of the external cause and the people's increasing need and improve of the quality of life is the key factor of the development of virtual reality technology. In exordium, it has introduced the Topics'background and the content and the significance of this research.Then it describes the existing virtual software and selects the software platform of the subject-Virtools, combining the development of virtual software technology at home and at abroad. It describes the research field and the main display contents of Virtools.It gathers and analysis the data of the canoe, combines the advantages and disadvantages and human-computer interaction of existing products, then works out the original canoe. Built three-dimensional model of canoe through Rhinoceros software, then optimize the model and change the model format. Export the right model format which can suit the virtual reality software.It establishes the virtual display of scene through the methods of generated fish-eye photos and IBMR. Among them, it needs to use the smoothing seams and stitching algorithm. Then displays the canoe through the platform which based on virtual reality software.Finally, it expounds the conclusions and prospects and summarizes the characteristics of each link of the theoretical analysis of this paper, product design and virtual display and points out the shortcomings of this paper .Then it makes some suggestions of the future research .At the same time ,it makes a outlook for the development of the virtual display and provide a reference for this project about follow-up study.
