Distributed generation technology is receiving increasing attention around the world, because of the increasing depletion of traditional energy resources and the disadvantages in the traditional power system characterized by the centralized power generation, EHV long-distance transmission. It has become a very important research direction in the 21st century.This paper presents the three-phase voltage source PWM rectifier in the application of distributed power generation system. According to the output characteristics of the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator, This paper firstly expound the basic principles and topology about the three-phase voltage source PWM rectifier. It result form the general mathematical model in different coordinate system. At the same time, the paper focus on the voltage -oriented vector control strategy with voltage and current dual-loop structure and the PI parameters design. Secondly, In order to solve the phase-lock issue, the paper introduced the Software Phase-Lccked Loop (SPLL) to the PWM converter. And based on the Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) principle, the paper established a simulation model of PWM rectifier system using MATLAB7.3/Simulink6.5. It researched the simulations that may appear in actual engineering applications. The results verify that the system is feasible. Lastly, using TI's TMS320F2812 chips as controllers, Mitsubishi company IPM module as a main circuit.It finished the three-phase voltage rectifier system hardware and software design.
