It is economically and effectively to use ejector in the vapor compression refrigeration system as a throttling device. The main performance parameters of ejector is ejector factor , which can improve the performance of system when fit. At present, there are three approaches to study the ejector: theoretical computation, numerical simulation and experimental study, among which experimental study is basically and widely used . At the foundation of theoretical computation results, this thesis will first conducted numerical simulation and experimental study to design and test the ejector , and then test a cooling system with the designed ejector.As followings are the main research works in this thesis: 1.Get the initial structure parameters through the listed way, and based on which, there would be several structure parameters of the main nozzle and mixer for simulation. 2. Numerical simulation method was used to model and calculate the flow in the ejector, and its distribution of pressure and velocity were studied. The effects of diffusion angle of the main nozzle and the diffuser, diameter and length of the mixer on the ejector performance were compared, and then the high-side pressure. 3. Test the manufactured R134a refrigeration system test-bed with the designed ejector and on which analyze the effects of the ejector .
