With the continued increase of consumption of natural gas, natural gas trade has developed rapidly. Liquefied natural gas (LNG) technology is widely used, and liquefied natural gas technology of our nation is also developing rapidly. Compared with foreign liquefied natural gas technology, liquefied natural gas technology of our nation starts a little later and fall behind foreign countries, especially in the actual running and operation experience of Natural gas liquefaction system. In this paper, based on the steady simulation of DMR(double stage mixed-refrigerant), adaptability analysis and dynamic simulation is done. The article expounds the research status of the liquefied natural gas technology home and abroad first, describes the development of dynamic simulation process, steady simulation and dynamic simulation of natural gas liquefaction process respectively, and explicates the significance of dynamic simulation in the liquefied natural gas engineering. The article describes the characteristics of the properties of natural gas and mixed refrigerant, introduces the calculating methods. In this paper, established the corresponding thermodynamic models of major apparatuses in the DMR liquefaction process such as compressor, valve, heat exchanger, The DMR liquefaction process is simulated, and the steady result is acquired. In this paper, adaptability of DMR liquefaction process is analyzed, conclude some major factors which influence the process performance, such as ambient temperature, gas pressure and composition, Adjusting the composition and mixed refrigerant circulation rate under condition, make sure a high efficiency of the liquefaction system. In this paper, the dynamic simulation of DMR is done. Analysis the system's dynamic characteristics when the actual probable perturbations to occur, such as natural gas temperature, inlet pressure, flow rate, components, and pre-cooling temperature ,composition, and deep refrigerant temperature , composition.
