The shape of bucket foundation just like a inverted tube or inverted cup with its top close and bottom open, The main sink mechanisms of bucket foundation is negative pressure principle. Currently, practice engineering in port, marine, water and bridge, the settlement and stability problem of bucket foundation as a shallow foundation is the main problem of bucket foundation in application. Negative pressure technology could overcome these problems well. In different geological conditions area, bucket foundation under the action of the vacuum technology can reinforce all kinds of foundation soil,thereby enhancing the capacity and stability of bucket foundation, strengthen the security of bucket foundation in use. Using backet foundation and vacuum technology to reinforce the foundation soil,the required equipment is simple, easy construct, lower integrated cost, foundation is better reinforced, and improve the capacity and stability of bucket foundation effectively.This article use negative pressure to consolidate sand soil, thereby improve the bearing capacity of sand soil. the method is use pump in the sand sinking negative pressure to the settlement of bucket foundation. After the settlement of the foundation, continue pumping negative pressure in the bucket foundation, stop after a period of time. Then remove the bucket foundation cap, compare the soil with no changed one in and out of the bucket foundation, then explain the improve of the bearing capacity of the bucket foundation.In the article, put the bucket foundation sink into the soil and consolidate the soil through experimental test with negative pressure technology, use light dynamic penetrometer measure the bearing capacity of soil before and after reinforcement, use vacuum pressure gauge measure the negative pressure of the pump and the inside of bucket foundation. Observe and measure the water level in the soil bin and the jet pump , obtain the changes of water volume and flow velocity during the reinforcement.This article introduces the finite element software ABAQUS and its appliance in geotechnical engineering, analysis of the soil seepage problems and the balance of earth stress, etc. Simulate the instance of the test, obtain the changing trends of the settlement and pore pressure of sandy soil. These changing trends are actually the same with the changing trends of negative pressure and flow velocity in the experiment test. This shows that the calculation results of ABAQUS are consistent with the results in the experiment test.Through theoretical analysis of seepage consolidation of the saturated sand and negative reinforcement mechanism, experiment test of negative pressure consolidation of sandy soil through bucket foundation in the room, and use finite element simulation analysis of the experiment test. Obtain some conclusions and give some suggestions. |
