Offshore wind power had the bright prospect, the economy, the security andstability of the foundation structural of offshore wind power become the researchemphasis. Bucket foundation has broad development space as the foundation of theoffshore wind power due to their own superiority, according to the current appliedresearch situation of bucket foundation, the paper told us some theoretical analysisand numerical simulation, focusing on the following issues:(1)Reviewing the design study and research background of offshore wind powerfoundation at home and abroad systematic and comprehensively, combining with thecharacteristics and engineering experiences of bucket foundation, we made thepropose that the bucket foundation can be used in offshore wind power very well.(2)The paper did the systematic summary and study on the basic principles ofbucket foundation, bearing capacity theory, towing stability theory, and themechanism of interaction between pile and soil and so on.(3)According to the different environmental conditions and load conditions inoffshore areas, the paper did the depth study of the bucket foundation structure typeof offshore wind and raise the design points, while did the study and analysis on theoffshore wind power load system, and the calculation method of environmental loadand the construction of suction load.(4)This paper used the finite element analysis software ABAQUS to analysisstrength stiffness and stability in the ultimate load, and set the Finite element modelwith Mohr-Coulomb elastic-plastic constitutive model, considering the effect ofinteraction between soil and bucket, the paper also did some researches about thenonlinear problem using finite element analysis softwareABAQUS.(5)Based the optimized the selection of design ideas, the paper used ABAQUSdoing static analysis under the ultimate load which is controlled bywind on differentmodels to select optimum tube connection transition mode; under the constructionsuction pressure, and selected optimum sub-structure bucket form. Sum up twokinds of optimization above, it can determine optimum program ultimately, and didtowing stability and buckling analysis continue. Design process elaborate the designidea of the offshore wind power completely, meeting the requirements of task, hadsome reference value selection on the basis of structural design of offshore windpower generator.
