With the popular application of information technology in military fields, warfare simulation has been an important measure to study warfare problems. Information-based warfare emphasizes architecture confront. From the views of system theory, warfare can be seen as a typical complicated huge system. Because the subsystems'classes and hierarchies are various related to warfare system and the relations among subsystems are complicated, the traditional theoretical method can't satisfy the need of warfare system modeling, corresponding to which new modeling theory and method should be established and developed. The methods of establishing multilayer and diversified model not only accord with human's cognized habit, but also improve the efficiency of solving practical problems. As an effective modeling method, multi-resolution modeling has an important realistic meaning in military application research.This thesis includes five chapters, and the main research work is listed below:1. Through the study on development history, research status, basic concept, modeling method, interactive principle, consistent maintenance of multi-resolution modeling, with the military requirement, the thesis puts forward the definition of warfare system multi-resolution modeling and clarifies the necessity to do the research work.2. The thesis classifies the main characteristics, advantages and drawbacks of several multi-resolution modeling methods. To the characteristics and requirements of warfare system simulation, model architecture of warfare system is classified. Based on detection ability simulation of radar system, we choose multi-resolution modeling method, design the model data criterion, bring forward the model abstract method, and construct the multi-resolution model of radar system class and detection ability class.3. Based on the discussion of interactive problems and consistent problems of warfare system multi-resolution model, we put forward the control method of multi-resolution model interaction in concrete problem, and synchronized multi-resolution model consistent maintenance algorithm based on model attributes classified method.4. We can certify the effects using multi-resolution model technology to solve practical problem after the radar system detection ability simulation.
