Research Of The Key Techniques Of The Automatic Snapping System Of Infringing Automobile

With the quick development of domestic transportation constructions and the increase of the retain number of automobile, traffic problem has become increasingly acute. In this condition, Intelligent Transportation Systems(ITS) is widely used. As an important part of ITS system, the automatic snapping system of infringing automobile has being widely researched.Because of the complexity of the automatic snapping system of infringing automobile, we only researched the key techniques of it, and then, propose the design solution and the implementation method.This paper mainly accomplished the following work:1.Did research on the digital image processing techniques of pattern recognition, compared and analyzed the implementation method of every techniques, then got the advantages and disadvantages of each method.2.Based on the research on the digital image processing techniques of pattern recognition, we divide the process of license plate recognition into four modules: image pre-processing, license plate location, character segmentation and character recognition, and based on the particular using environment of the automatic snapping system of infringing automobile, chose the best algorithm for the modules or propose the improved algorithm of the modules to accomplish the license plate recognition.3 . Analyzed another key technique in automatic snapping system of infringing automobile—the camera trigger of infringing automobile, combined recognition of license plate, present the overall structure and implementation process of this system.
