In our day life and industry application, most of flame has soot. People are facing some soot problems for a long time, including soot developed in combustion, and soot emission control. In practical combustion equipments, the emission of soot particles indicates a bad combustion condition in the equipment, and low combustion efficiency. Furthermore, soot emission will cause environment problems and harm our human's health.Ethylene is a hydrocarbon fuel which has a simple structure. And because of this, ethylene flame is used for combustion mechanism research. The present study calculates the soot temperature, blackening, and the soot concentration based on the RAW data and Planck's constant law. RAW data is the original data obtained directly from the sensitization component, which is the electric information related to the light intensity. Therefore the radiation energy can be obtained directly. RAW data won't differ as the camera settings differ. Ant this RAW data are more accurate than JPG data. Comparing with the conventional image process methods, this new method improve the accuracy and decrease the error in the calculation. In the previous calculation, emissivity stays the same at different wavelength. This paper considered the difference of the emissivity at different wavelength in the calculation. The consideration impacts the soot emissivity obviously. The soot temperature has a discrepancy of 200K in these two conditions. The soot concentration is similar to the distribution in the literature.
