| With the evolution of the way people consume, shopping has become one of the main entertainment in the daily leisure time and holiday. How to comply with the development trend and to create an even more satisfied shopping space for consumers, is becoming a new task of commercial designers. With the background of experience economy, the interior public space of shopping center was researched in this paper, the consumption psychology and behavior in the experience economy times was analyzed. In order to create an more satisfied shopping environment for consumers, the experience design and research strategies of shopping center interior public space were proposed.This paper was divided into four chapters: in chapter one, the research background and origin were introduced. The related materials on experience economy, shopping center and interior center of shopping center were summarized. In addition, the four methods applied in the research were presented. In chapter two, the definition and characteristics of experience economy and experience consumption were introduced. The spatial function of shopping center interior public space was classified and analyzed. From the stand point of consumer, the consumption psychology and behavior were analyzed. At last the interaction between consumer and shopping center interior public space was summarized, that was the good shopping environment could stimulate the consume desire of consumer, and the requirement of consumer was the development direction of shopping center. In chapter three, the experience factors of public space were analyzed and the principles of design were proposed. The shopping center interior public space was classified into three elements: fixed elements, semi-fixed element and non fixed element. After the classification and analysis, the shopping center interior public space was classified and analyzed on the point of experience, and the four design principles of shopping center interior public space were proposed, they were thematic design principle, humanization design principle, characteristic design principle and culture design principle. In chapter four, based on the classification and analysis, the experience design of fixed element was carried out on spatial style and spatial interference; the experience design of semi-fixed element was focused on four aspects: space display, green water, illumination and color matching; the experience of non fixed element was mainly on rich and colorful activities and the participate satisfaction of customers. A large number of excellent examples and figures were applied to supplement and illustrate the experience design on the element of shopping center interior public space. In addition, some prospect on the experience design of public space design was suggested. |
