We have made a great deal of scientific research on sandwich panels and hollow concrete filled steel tube structure, obtaining important experiment data. But we don't have uniform management and can't analyse data quickly, leading to hard for further research, at the same time, the design and calculation of the sandwich panels and hollow concrete filled steel tube are very complicated, Engineering staff can't master them. This paper develops the computational database for sandwich panels and hollow concrete filled steel tube, combinating database technology and ABAQUS finite element software.Firstly, the overall ideas of development for computational database are determined in the paper, and the computational database has the characteristic of friendly interface. Then, the management of the data and establishment of experiment report are achieved in the computational database, using ADO.NET data access technology and trial ASPOSE software. Computational database of sandwich panels mainly includes three parts: calculation, database management and numerical simulation; Computational database of hollow concrete filled steel tube mainly includes three parts: design, database management and numberical simulation, design part includes three parts: calculation capacity, components section design and node design. The main achievements in the paper are as follows:(1)Based on the national standard GB / T 23932-2009 insulated sandwich panel construction with metal surfaces , computational database designs and developes bearing capacity calculation module of sandwich panels;(2)Computational database of hollow concrete filled steel tube develops component and node calculation design module of hollow concrete filled steel tube based on hollow concrete filled steel tube Structure Technique Rules CECS254:2009;(3)The computational database of sandwich panels and hollow concrete filled steel tube has three functions: design, data management and numberical simulation. Data management system supports multiple input formats, the system analyses the experiment data and establishs the experiment reports. The computational database achieves finite element analyasis of parameter through establishing script files of ABAQUS.
