The method using structure static response data changes or the changes of dynamic characteristics to identify structural damage is a simple and rapid method. The domestic and overseas scholars in this respect conducted fruitful research works, and proposed many methods which according to the structure static response data changes or the changes of dynamic characteristics to identify structure damage.This article mainly aims at comparing the results of damage identification of these theories: the theory based on the static structure displacement response changes, the theory based on the dynamic frequency changing, the thorey based on the structure admittance of modal force, the theory based on the combination of static and dynamic data, and the theory of based on the sensitive degree of modal parameter, Detailed contents are summarized below:①Deduced the theory of damage identification which based on structure static displacement response changes.②Deduced the theory of damage identification which based on structure dynamic frequency changes.③Deduced the theory of damage identification which based on the admittance of modal force.④Introduced the theory of damage identification which based on the sensitive degree of modal parameter.⑤On the basis of above theories,this article invented the theory of damage identification which based on the combination of static and dynamic data.Because the combination method combining the static information and dynamic information of the structure,so it can react the inside information of the structure more comprehensively,compensates the shortcomings of using static method or dynamic method alone,made the result of damage identifition more accurate,and be adaptived more widely.⑥According to the finite element theory of truss structure and frame structure,compiled the modal analysis program,the static analysis procedures and the damage identification procedures.With the various of damage identification method which are proposed in this article,made a numerical simulation of the damage identification for the structure of truss and frame.Through comparing the results of every method of damage identifition,it reveals the accuracy and the applicabilityof every methods.⑦Made the research work on developing the visualization system of building structural damage identifition.Developed the visualization system of damage identificaiton for the cantilever beam, continuous beam, and truss structures, frame structure. This system can automaticly establish the finite element model according to the model parameters and control parameters which are input by the user, and then make the modal analysis and the static analysis of the structure. And using the static method, the dynamic method, the combination method and the modal parameter sensitivity method to identify the damage.
