| The art of interior decoration in China flourished along with social advancement, economic prosperity and cultural communication. However, the soar is twofold. The absorption of different ideas from other cultures has diluted Chinese characteristics. If China were to be recognized by the world, it would have to keep its distinct feature to certain extent. Only when it belongs to the people does it belong to the world. That is to say, the interior decoration in China needs to incorporate traditional Chinese art.
