The tiltrotor aircraft is a kind of advanced aircraft which can cruise with highly speed and fly with vertical takeoff or short takeoff and landing and hover on the air.The mathematical model of tiltrotor aircraft includes several different parts and the aerodynamic of every parts compute in different coordinate.So in this paper,developed the aerodynamic model of fuselage,wing,horizontal tail,vertical tail and rotors respectively,and then got the complicated nonlinear model of tiltrotor. In this way, Modelling of tiltrotor aircraft can be less complicated and more utility.Modelling of tiltrotor aircraft not only considered the downwash between rotors and the wings,but also the slipstream on conhorizontal tail,vertical tail due to the rotor wake is discussed here.It also discussed the vertical bending of the wing and the change of center of mass with nacelle angle.So the model discussed here is fully considered and utility.Then built the nonlinear model used the tool of matlab/simulink software. and the trim function and linmod function of the Matlab/Simulink software are used to XV-15 tiltrotor aircraft. The model was proved by comparing the trimmed result,latent roots with GTRS model and flight test.On base of the linearized model,The different dynamic coupling and control coupling was found in the model.then the attitude control system is designed with the inner/outer loop structure by using eigenstructure assignment.
